It’s that time of the year again when Koreans celebrate “Coming of Age” day. It’s a special day in which people who are turning 20 years-old in 2013 are celebrated and given gifts for becoming “adults” in society. Interestingly this year, the law will change starting July 1 so that people who turn 19 years-old are considered “adults,” which means that people born in 1993 and before July 1 in 1994 all celebrate “Coming of Age” day today. There are a lot of idols out there who are celebrating their coming of age on May 20, so let’s take a look.
