To The Beautiful You is Korean version of Hana Kimi

In 2011, we reported that SM Entertainment will produce the Korean version of Hana Kimi. It has become a reality and “delicious” eye candies have been cast! The Korean drama, entitled To the Beautiful You (아름다운 그대에게), is set to rock your weeknights beginning Aug 9!

The story is SM Entertainment’s Korean adaptation of the famous Japanase manga series Hanazakari no Kimitachi e. It revolves around a gold medallist athlete who has fallen into a slump after an injury. In order to help restore his passion for life, a fan girl disguises herself as a boy and enrolls into his all-male high school.

SHINee’s Minho and f(x)’s Sulli has been confirmed as the two lead roles while Infinite’s L and ZE:A’s Kwanghee will be playing students at the high school. They are also the male lead’s close friends.

In addition to the idols, actors Seo Jun Young (of the hit drama Only You) and Lee Hyun Woo (Man from the Equator, Master of Study) have also been cast for the drama.

Seo Jun Young will be portraying the dorm leader. Meanwhile, Lee Hyun Woo will portray a football player with good looks and positive attitude, but who is still naive when it comes to the matters of the heart.
