After School's Lizzy will make a cameo appearance in Japanese drama "Evil Spirit Ward" which will air on TBS in July. Lizzy will play a Korean exchange student who gets hospitalized to the troublesome hospital.
Lizzy, who is making her debut in a Japanese drama, has worked in a sitcom and a drama in Korea. Currently, even though she is still an active member of the girl idol group After School, Lizzy is pursuing an acting career.
Earlier in Japan, KARA's Goo Hara and INFINITE's L have appeared in Japanese dramas and had promising debuts. Goo Hara came out in Tokyo TV's "Urakara" and recorded a 4.2% TV ratings on its premiere.
With moderate successes in precedent, it remains to be seen whether Lizzy will be able to continue on the streak of K-pop artists in Japanese dramas.
