Best of Weekly Music Shows 3/25 – 3/31
What’s up Seoulmates? Glad to see you’ve come back for our weekly round-up of music show faves! This week, both SHINee and B.A.P had their goodbye stages and while we’re sad to see our boys go, there is definitely some sleep to caught up on. ZE:A5 made their debut with “The Day We Broke Up” and EvOL made their return with “Get Up.” This week, I thought the ladies seemed on their A game, leaving the boys behind in the dust, but I’ll let you be the judge of the performances gathered this week!
130328 M! Countdown, EvOL, “Get Up”
Even though Stardom Entertainment is currently embroiled in legal issues with Block B, the ladies of EvOL are still out to rock it. The female rappers in this group have a refreshing amount of talent worth taking note of.
130328 M! Countdown, Girls’ Day, “Expectation”
Okay, I know I’m not the first to admit it, but Girls’ Day has been and always will be my ultimate guilty pleasure. And though I think they’re ripping off KARA big time with their suspenders act, they still look damn good with this sultry number.
130328 M! Countdown, Infinite, “Man In Love”
I’m still meh about Infinite, but this is me trying to give them a chance. How are you INSPIRITs loving “Man in Love?” I’m still not sure if I’m won over, but it’s catchy.
130329 Music Bank, ZE:A5, “The Day We Broke Up”
This is like the only viable piece to ever come from ZE:A, it’s just a bit unfortunate that only this subgroup will reap the recognition for this effort. I feel so sorry for ZE:A–there’s a lot of untapped potential in that group. Luckily, ZE:A5 seems to be managed better, at least musically, so we’ll see where this goes. I also love their knit sweaters, so that also doesn’t hurt.
130329 Music Bank, D-Unit, “Talk to My Face”
Yay D-Unit! I love this tiny, power-packed quartet. They brought tons of energy to this stage and are really grabbing my attention with their live charisma.
130329 Music Bank, OFFROAD, “Head Banging”
The new kids on the block are here with “Head Banging,” a clever name for another catchy song. I like the vocals in this group, so I’m hoping they take off!
What your favorite stage this week?
