SHINee’s latest tracks proudly stood at the top of local music charts.
On August 8, SHINee released it new repackaged album ‘The Misconceptions of Us’ and the title track “Selene 6.23” immediately reached the number one spot on local music charts including Olleh Music, Mnet, Bugs and Naver Music.
“Selene 6.23” is a ballad song with orchestra and piano sound. It talks about a crush and describes one sided love. The other new track “Better Off” is a pop ballad which talks about sadness of breakup. Both of the songs’ lyrics are known to be written by SHINee’s member Jonghyun.

Powerhouse agency SM Entertainment announced it plans to expand further into the entertainment industry. The label’s subsidiary company, SM C&C (Culture and Contents) has just merged with agency Woollim Entertainment, home to idol groups INFINITE, Nell and TASTY.It was announced on August 9th that SM C&C has merged with Woollim Entertainment and decided to run an independent label ‘Woolim Label’. This will just another strategic move on SM Entertainment’s part as a steppingstone to its ambitions of becoming Asia’s biggest music group...
